Yoga and Meditation
Known as the country of the Vatican, Italy has been the homeland of many mystics and Saints for centuries and still today receives many requests and visits for spiritual tourism that varies from the discipline of yoga to meditation. We not only organize retreats with specific dates throughout the year at our Shala Mandala center in Calabria, but we offer various locations throughout the country, for those looking for a retreat for their well-being.
Food and Wine
Food takes on an increasingly greater importance in our lives but in a different way than in the past and therefore cannot only be functional to guarantee our simple subsistence. The added value that is sought today in a food and wine product is linked to the pleasure of tasting it. And so food and its culture become part of a travel experience in which Italy becomes the protagonist not only for the goodness of its dishes but also for the advantages of the health and well-being of the human organism.
Cooking Classes
The culinary tradition of the Mediterranean which has been codified in the famous Mediterranean diet now known and appreciated throughout the world, has always been based on local products that come from the land and our sea. This diet attracts many Italian citizens to move between one region and another to learn the different traditions, but above all many enthusiasts from abroad try their hand at learning the local cuisine through cooking workshops offered today almost everywhere in the Bel Paese.
Trekking
Among the many records that belong to the Italian territory, there is one that makes the country one of the European places where the rate of biodiversity is highest.
The credit goes to the geographical position of Italy and its elongated and multifaceted territory, which extends from the Alpine to the Mediterranean environments covered by 24 national parks, and approximately 30% of animal species and 50% of plant species are found in Italy. An ideal destination for enthusiasts of high mountains and extreme sports to family trekking.
Historical Walks
The territory of Italy is dotted with small towns, sometimes still proudly inhabited and other times now abandoned by man, due to emigration or natural disasters that have struck over the centuries. These are ancient villages, mostly dating back to the medieval era or to relatively more recent historical periods, which have however retained their structure unchanged over time. Even the cities have been able to preserve the original nuclei, today precious treasures are discovered through thematic walks that will make us relive the glories of the past.
Fishing Tourism
Fishing tourism is a complementary activity to professional fishing and was established to support fishermen’s income. We organize this activity in Southern Italy specifically in the Strait of Messina in front of the wonderful Etna Volcano.
