Program
1st day: arrival in Tropea, visit to the historic center. Not far away is Capo Vaticano. Continue to Pizzo Calabro with the Aragonese castle. Visit to the small church of Piedigrotta entirely dug into the tuff. In the evening hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Le Castella and visit to the Aragonese Castle. We continue with the Hera Lacinia temple and Isola Capo Rizzuto, the marine reserve. In the afternoon visit Santa Severina, a small town rich in history and art. I’m going back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day: breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Reggio Calabria with its seafront and the National Museum of Magna Graecia, where you can admire the Riace Bronzes. Continue to Scilla: the Chianalea district is beautiful, an ancient fishing village. I’m going back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
4th day: Boarding for Sicily. Departure for Etna for the excursion to the highest volcano in Europe. Next, we continue towards Taormina. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
5th day: Visit Syracuse with the archaeological park and Ortigia. Lunch and continuation to Noto, the capital of Sicilian Baroque. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
6th day: first breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit Piazza Armerina with the splendid mosaics of the Casale. Continue to Agrigento and visit the Valley of the Temples. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
7th day: Transfer to Selinunte and visit to the archaeological area. In the afternoon visit Erice, a typical medieval village. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
8th day Visit to the historic center of Palermo. In the afternoon transfer to Monreale to visit the cathedral. End of our. services.
