Program

1 Day: Arrive in Calabria in the morning, meet with the companion/guide, and transfer by bus to Paravati, the birthplace of the visionary Natuzza (the beatification process has already begun), and visit the sanctuary dedicated to her. Lunch in a restaurant and visit the small church of Piedigrotta in Pizzo Calabro; transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in 2-bed rooms. Dinner and overnight stay.
2 Day. Breakfast and transfer to Paola with a visit to the Sanctuary of San Francesco. Lunch in a restaurant and continue to San Demetrio Corona, an Arberesque-speaking community, and visit the Church of Sant’Adriano. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight stay.
3 Day. Breakfast and departure for Capo Colonna visit to the small church of the Madonna “Bruna”. Lunch at Le Castella and visit to the famous castle, built in the sea. Return and visit Cropani the Capuchin convent and the 13th-century Cathedral.
4 Day. Breakfast and transfer to Serra San Bruno with a visit to the Certosa. The Carthusian order was founded here by the monk Brunone of Kolonia, from whom it took its name. Continuation to visit the Sanctuary of Monte Stella between Pazzano and Stilo. Visit to the Catholic Church of Stilo. Lunch in a restaurant. Continue to Placanica and visit the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora dello Scoglio, where prayer meetings with Brother Cosimo take place. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
5 Day. Breakfast and check out. Departure for the last visit to Rossano, we visit the Cathedral and its historical museum which preserves the Codex Purpureus Rossanensis, a Greek uncial manuscript from the 6th century. Return to the place of origin and end of our services.

The visit program is extremely interesting and could be extended by a few days by including visits to other sacred places and churches with particular and strong religious and artistic connotations. Among these, we highlight Gerace, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and its Cathedral, among the most impressive in the South with the Museum which contains a millennium of bishopric.
